Sausalito California USA Wedding Photographer

Sausalito California is one of the best destinations for weddings in the world. Photographer Gary Ferber just photographed a couple, the bride from Monterey, Mexico, the groom from the US Coast Guard at Cavallo Point, Sausalito. We started at the Casa Madrona Hotel and on to the Mission San Rafael for the wedding. After the ceremony we were on to the Golden Gate Bridge and Plaza Vina del Mar in downtown Sausalito for the photo shoot. The bride and groom then arrived at the Spinnaker Restaurant for their reception. The Spinnaker has the best views of the San Francisco Bay. The bride had a Mariachi band in  the family and the US Coast Guard came by with their ship to toast the bride and groom.  WOW!

Photographer Gary Ferber of Sausalito, Captain Gerry Robertson of Empress Events and Annabella of Mill Valley Flowers have again been chosen as a destination wedding from around the world. The bride was from Ethiopia and the groom was from Laos. Ferber captured portraits in downtown Sausalito at Plaza Vina del Mar to the Empress Yacht wedding under the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California. “Everything was a 10, from the couple, weather, Sausalito and the flowers.” Post photos were taken at the Frank Lloyd Wright Civic Center in Marin County California.

If you’re ever going to plan a destination wedding in Sausalito, as Lindsey and Zack did, this is the most fantastic spot to do it. The couple is from Washington DC and it was a perfect day on the Bay. Jeff Scharosch, the Restaurant and Banquet manager does an incredible job with his great staff, including chef Phil Collins. The wedding cake was extraordinary. Jill Branch of Branching Out created a masterpiece and beautiful floral designs by Annabella of Mill Valley Flowers decorated the event. Here are a few of the spectacular shots of this lovely bride and her beautiful day.

There’s nothing quite like leaving Sausalito California on a beautiful ship like the Empress Yacht to get married on the San Francisco Bay. Captain Jerry with his coordinator Debra, chef Jared and staff are amazing. Annabella of Mill Valley Flowers did a stunning job on both weddings. Here are some shots of two weddings I did in October. The scenery in October light and sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge is a singular experience.

Followed the bride from the Fairmont to the church on the cable cars and then back to the fabulous Fairmont for a great party. From the gorgeous flowers by, to the great staff at the Fairmont, to the world reknowned Jules Broussard band, it was an incredible wedding celebration. There was even a painter that captured the party scene on canvas in an impressionistic style. What great families. I was lucky enough to photograph the bride’s sister’s wedding a few years ago at St. Hilary’s in Tiburon and reception at the Corinthian Yacht Club. Cheers to the Olsen Family. I wish you had another daughter to photograph!

Gearing Up For Wedding Season

Landmarks Art and Garden Center in Tiburon, California offers great bay views of San Francisco and Mt. Tamalpais. This was a dramatic day as the fog swept across the bay. Annabella of Mill Valley Flowers, Ca. did the floral arrangements, Fork and Spoon Productions, SF did the catering and guitarist Keith Sanchez played the music. Wedding Photography

This is the time of year that many brides and grooms are planning their big day, so I thought I’d post some shots from the last wedding season of the Falkirk Mansion. If you’re looking for a great event location in San Rafael, it’s an excellent choice. Beautiful environment, great staff—they really have it all here. An Affair to Remember did the catering, and as always, it was delectable.
